The Zen Yantra

 The Zen Yantra The Zen Yantra is made by me, I was inspired by Sandhya Manne's Zendala Joy Series in YouTube. While making my first Zen Yantra, it felt like its giving me happy energies. That's the reason to name it Zen Yantra, The Energy Giver! The supplies that can be used are zendala tile, black micron pen 01, red micron pen 01, green micron pen 01, golden gelly roll pen number 10, hb pencil, blending stump, compass to make circles and atleast one thing to be grateful for.  My first Zen Yantra had four circles of different sizes to start with. Then I wanted to use fragments and reticula from Zentangle Inc., a border enhancing tangle and stick to eight pointed star to make in look similar to a Yantra.  I made some more Zen Yantra's after that but somewhere in my mind I was not satisfied to teach it like the one above. Its made on an Apprentice Tile and the colors used are red, golden and black. Finally, I worked more on this technique and tried to make it better so that

The ongoing Journey

I was already loving the phase I was in with the artworks. I soon found a Certified Zentangle Teacher for myself. CZT Sandhya Manne is my first CZT. She taught me from basics to advance Zentangle. The journey was slow, calm and admirable. Practicing all that she taught leaded me to an exhibition in Tokyo in collaboration with Terra (a Japan based organization). My uncle Mr. Nawal Sawarthia and his friend Mr. Hiro San gave me this lifetime opportunity. I had displayed Zentangle arts dedicated to Mother Earth. Simultaneously, I created my Facebook page, eNSTyle Studio. My initial posts were mostly of my artworks that I had made while practicing Zentangle. Then I posted the artworks that were displayed in the Tokyo exhibition. Looking at the number of likes, it was overwhelming and I continued to post mostly once a week. After my exhibition in Tokyo I also learnt to sketch with Mr. Roshan Pradhan Sir. His techniques to observe and study still life helped me to a great

Childhood Fantasy

It all started since childhood… I was fascinated about patterns. I am born and brought up in a Marwari family. My father is a successful business man and my mother is a dedicated home maker. Marwari culture is an elaborative one. One beautiful thing amongt all is applying heena(temporary natural tattoo)on our hands. When we were young, my mother used to apply heena on our hands. She used to design beautifully. Looking at her do it so passionately, I was always inspired by her. First art form that I learnt, was fabric painting, in fabric painting I used to trace designs and then paint the bedsheets and pillow covers with fabric colours. I did not continue, but this style of art helped to use paint brushes of different sizes and practice confident strokes. During my teenage, I did clay work and practiced heena application also.
